SC Engineers served as the Mechanical Engineer of Record for Phases 1 and 2 of this project that provides a new Athletic Center and a new High School Building to accommodate up to 360 students. The 35,300 SF Athletic Center includes three regulation basketball courts, a training room, dance/yoga studio, weight and conditioning room, and bleachers with seating for 500.   The 32,500 SF high school building includes 19 classrooms; four science laboratories; two student reading lounges; a college counseling area; and faculty, staff, and administration offices.

Central to each wing is a student Reading Lounge with overhead, operable doors to the outdoors. The Reading Lounges and the building lobby were thermodynamically modeled for passive ventilation only. Classrooms, laboratories, and office areas have passive ventilation backed by energy-efficient HVAC.
